Niiice! The Snes has such a massive library, it's so cool to see such a big gathering of characters.
I definitively dig the amount of Chrono Trigger, but it was fun to find stuff that would super rarely get any fanart like the Itchy and Scratchy game on the 'hammer zone', Alfred Chicken and even Whirlo! I remember Whirlo being controlled so differently than the other games at the time with the unusual jump controls, it was hard getting used to it, but intriguing enough to keep me trying.

ScepterDPinoy responds:

Haven't tried Whirlo but it seems like a good game.

Niiice! Pretty cool rendition! Now this takes me back to watching it on Fox Kids way back when that was a thing.

ChipsGoWOAH responds:

i dont think i had that experience but man yeah watching it reminds me of the good times when all id do was watch cartoons

Niice! the textured lines go great for this comfy scene :)

MeghanLuna responds:

Aw, thank you! :)

That's an awesome gathering of humanoids!
Also, there's probably no connection, but the main skull reminds me a lot of a game controller.

dogmuth-behedog responds:

Thanks Butzbo! :D, and yes is like a game controller but is not inspired in one. XD

Nice tribute! I remember a bunch of them, Snailliad, K.O.L.M, Pause Ahead, and of course many of the more classic NG characters.

Actually, most of them ring a bell, it would be cool to see their listed names, but that's probably a lot of work lol.

ProsciuttoMan responds:

I have a full list, but it's more fun to make people guess I think lol

Niice, good job on the angle!
Also, sounds like an awesome birthday gift!

Carmet responds:

Thanks! And it really was :D

Niiice, I'd say it's t-shirt worthy!

IkaroKruz responds:

Thanks a lot!! :D

I was expecting the guy to mention something much more 'standard' like superheroes, but the Garfield panel really caught me by surprise hahah!

Comick responds:

SAME!! I thought maybe he would say Marvel or Batman...maybe a manga he really likes or something but then Garfield!? and I went O_< really?? okay that wasn't where I thought you were going haha.

Wow the variety of characters and expressions is amazing! Also it's so cool to see such stylized characters out of D&D games.

Good job!

EWSchneider responds:

Thank you very much!

Wow awesome rendition to the creepy Threed!

Your take on the characters expands nicely from the original dotted eye designs, and I really dig those super subtle movements for breathing/shaking characters, quite minimal in terms of 'moving pixels' but it adds so much!

I could also go on with how unique this game is even to this day, buuut I better keep it short.

Good stuff!

Moonshen responds:

Thanks so much! Yes it's hard to explain the love Earthbound generates on us, but we can assume we understand each other's feeling. Mother's follower we are a family :p

Helloe! I'm a 2D Animator from Chile, and sometimes Game Developer (actually, Newgrounds got me into animation!) I post some personal cartoons and drawings every once in a while! Cheese and lizards are cool too. Bzzzztt!!
