Pretty cool! I think the main gag was well played; It kept me guessing for a few more expected outcomes, but after all the actual ending was none of them.
Also the "lipsync" on the robot was a nice touch ;)

jessejayjones responds:

Haha, that's really great to hear! Thank you so much Butzbo, I appreciate that! :)

Nice looping creature!; The subtle "music box" sounding track mached really well with it as you watch it growing from a little fish or tadpole, I wish it had evolved a bit more at the end for a stronger transition, but it does work pretty well as a continuous loop.
good job!

megadrivesonic responds:

Wow thank you. That means allot coming from a gifted animator like you. Congrats on yours as well. I would have liked to develop this more but had to worm within the time limit. Maybe ill do a sort of sequel to expand on these sorts of things.

This guy is really relaxed to eat a carrot in the middle of a highway, hahah!
Makes me wish the transformation had a bit more going on, but still a pretty cool concept for a loop; the highlight on the sign was really well executed and sums it up well.
Keep it up!

CyanSandwich responds:

Thanks man!
Yeah, I should have done something more with the transformation.

Cool action sequence!
The looping transition is also well put together; Makes me wish for a bit more frames in general, but the 'smears' you used work pretty well creating the movement arcs.

antdung responds:

Butzbo! I'm a huge fan! Thanks for the commentary. I would've liked to add more inbetweens, but there just wasn't enough time T_T

Hahah, the sounds work pretty well with this strange ancient creature, and the frame-by-frame animation is fun to watch. I wish there were different outcomes, though, hahah.
Hoping to see more!

jumpclumps responds:

Thankyou! Yeah I was going to make it longer but I was doing this at the same time as finishing my A levels haha :)

Coolibert! nice sound editing, it somehow matches pretty well with the music track; the result is pretty engaging to watch (also the life pick-up at the end was a smart way to transition ;)).

SuperPhil64 responds:

Thanks! Really glad you liked it. The sound effects were actually part of the original music track by @Miguel-is-cool (except for the death noise at the end) so he deserves all the credit for the audio. : )

These live-action+2d experiments are always cool to watch! The 'squashing' at the end is pretty well done.
Still, it makes me want to see him actually draw his army with real pencils and realize its plans, hahah!

Cheetoh responds:

Say thanks man =) who knows, something tells me this isn't the only time we'll see this little doodle man ;)

Nice result!, one of the things I've found most difficult to learn in 2d animation is complex camera movements and changes of perspective, and while there could be (in some cases) more frames on the background transformations I think that's starting to work pretty well here.

Whirlguy responds:

I find that having sketches of the first and last shot gives a lot of room to gradually work out the environmental inbetweens. Heh, I say that now but I had to redraw the sketches at some point. It's pretty tricky as you say. Luckily none of it had to be very detailed, that would have taken forever. Thanks for the review!

GREAT work on this!
Animation was pretty detailed (the montage of Commando Bird getting ready was so cool); and I wasn't especting that final sequence!
I'll be looking forward for more COMMANDO BIRD (or whatever you have planned :) )

Radnimation responds:

Thanks brotha man, appreciate the feedback

And the 'roundfrog' saves the ecosystem!...Maybe.
That was reeally cool to watch, made a good combination with my ham-cheese-avocado sandwich.

golfinho responds:

eat food!

Helloe! I'm a 2D Animator from Chile, and sometimes Game Developer (actually, Newgrounds got me into animation!) I post some personal cartoons and drawings every once in a while! Cheese and lizards are cool too. Bzzzztt!!
