Looking good! outline-less animation gets my attention as it comes with its own challenges, and it works well with the pallet your using (I specially liked the landscapes at the end),

Since it's a review; If I can be a bit "nitpicky", sometimes on the first takes it was a bit difficult to follow the characters as some elements (like the child's hair and the girl's pants) 'blended' with the white surfaces as there wasn't much contrast, just a small detail which comes to mind.

Thanks for sharing it here, I'll be keeping an eye on OuterHeart!

Thank you for the critique! Yeah the outline-less artwork is a bit of a challenge. I'll definitely pay stronger attention to contrasting color palates in the final film.

Yes, claymation!! we do need more of that on NG these days :)
The part where they jump looks a bit odd (but that's a hard thing for claymation anyway, it normally requires others tricks like a support or a cord that you can later erase from the pictures), but I liked the rolling movement a lot.

While the story felt a bit inconsistent, it was entertaining and it looks like it was fun to make. I still wish they could find some tacos on their journey.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, this was my first experience with claymation so I didn't have the greatest idea what I was doing. But I did have fun! And who knows, maybe one day they'll come face to face with a crunchwrap supreme.

Awesome work in this simple yet absurdly hilarious toon.
You had a fun mix of 'traditional' frame-by-frame plus some exaggerated tweening movement which worked pretty well with the fast pacing.
Keep it up and I'll be back :D

Animation was fluent and It's cool how you've evolved your designs and palettes to characters without outlines at all.
It's great how you keep exploring the theme of ghosts and really absurd takes on horror/dark themes ;)

Niiice! Thay dog's design is awesome and pretty well integrated to the story. And the overall short has reeally consistant results for a jam thing, great you could pull that off AND in time! :)

OH that sound at the end!, as I used it so much at the end of my Sound Jam entry, I got that DogBark sound burnt on my brain now, hahah!, maybe that should be a thing now: All entries should use the dog bark at the end.

Cool dialogs! and the voices were cool and relatable in some way, they felt a bit similar, though.
I think the graphic style works pretty well for this premise; as some have said it could be fun to see a little more animation (maybe they could have a bouncy walk or another way to react), but it still does the job.

Are you considering following this as a series?, I would watch it.

Great work on this!
The greatest part for me was the design of the 'mind/brain' character; and of course the metaphor works well as the narration and visuals overlap.

I wanted the brain to be really cute, like a pet puppy, that doesn't really think about much, just goes wherever things take him. Flawed, innocent, scared and vulnerable.

Nice, The style was clean, expressive and pretty refreshing to look at, and the amount of frame by frame animation was enjoyable, I do agree that the script could've got some more going on (maybe a 2nd punchline to make it seem more complete, or maybe a way to turn it into a loop), but overall it's a nice result for such a short challenge.

Great to see there was one more submission to the jam, it's been cool to go through these and just check the different ways to go with this challenge.

I really liked this idea of just showing different tv channels as a way to get the sounds in; Animation could have been smoother, but that's mostly a matter of time and it does its job with some fun poses, and the voicework was pretty fun (you even got 'FOM TULT').
